Double Hospitality represents the natural evolution of the entrepreneurial journey of the Lombardini Group, a company deeply rooted in the family tradition of hospitality in Romagna which, between 2025 and 2026, has embarked on a phase of structured and integrated growth, strengthening its market positioning and expanding its portfolio of managed properties.
The new name accompanies the group’s development toward an increasingly modern model, capable of combining strategic vision, operational solidity, and asset enhancement, while maintaining a strong connection to its origins and a forward-looking perspective.
The group’s recent history began in 2006 with the acquisition of Hotel Maré in Bellaria and continued with gradual expansion across Emilia-Romagna, Tuscany, and Lake Garda, reaching, at the beginning of 2025, a portfolio of 14 three- and four-star hotels, totaling over 600 rooms.
The name change is part of a broader organizational evolution process which includes, starting next October, the establishment of a family holding company. This new structure is designed to improve coordination of activities, optimize resource allocation, and support future investments in the hospitality sector. As highlighted by Carlo and Gianni Lombardini, respectively CEO and CFO, as well as Chairman and COO, this represents a strategic step to support the group’s expansion and enable increasingly efficient and structured management.
The financial results confirm the strength of the path undertaken: in 2024, the group exceeded €16.5 million in revenue, with an EBITDA of €6.3 million and a margin increased to 38%, supported by stable operational performance and improvements in ADR and RevPAR.
At the same time, Double Hospitality continues to enrich its portfolio. Among the most recent additions is Hotel Maderno by Double Hospitality, on Lake Garda, an Art Nouveau-style property with 33 rooms, swimming pools, a terrace, garden, restaurant, and lounge bar.
In Bellaria, the Palazzo Lombardini project is taking shape, involving the complete renovation of a historic building in the heart of the city, set to become an exclusive residence composed of eight high-end apartments, with an expected opening within approximately one year.
Looking ahead, the group’s objective is to reach €31.4 million in revenue by 2028, expanding the portfolio to 24 properties for an overall growth of approximately 450 rooms, further consolidating Double Hospitality’s role in the Italian hospitality landscape.
